Regional companies team up to start a toolmaker course.
On this moment, companies experience a shortage in toolmakers, both for molds and dies. In the coming years, this problem only will become larger. The toolmaker profession is one in which theoretical knowledge and practical experience ultimately join.
Mikrocentrum and Teclab, and 10 regional companies, among which Euro-Techniek have taken the initiative to tackle this shortage in craftmanship, and have started per november 3 with the toolmaker course. In this course, which exist of 40 evenings, the students are trained on the theoretical side, while they are trained practically in their day-time job.
