About us

Sustainability

For us, sustainability means taking responsibility across the full breadth of our organisation. We are focused on reducing our environmental impact, fostering a safe and inclusive work environment, and collaborating fairly and carefully throughout our supply chain. With clear ambitions, concrete actions, and explicit guidelines, we are making sustainability increasingly practical, measurable, and visible in our daily way of working.

Working towards less emissions

We are working specifically to reduce our emissions by managing energy, processes and material use more efficiently. In doing so, we are looking at both our own operations and our impact throughout the supply chain. We have set reduction targets for 2030: to reduce our Scope 1 emissions by 35%, cut our Scope 3 emissions by 10%, and use green electricity for our market-based Scope 2 emissions, ensuring they remain at zero. In this way, we make climate improvement concrete, measurable and part of our daily practice, with a long-term focus on making our organisation even more sustainable.

Our long-term goal is net-zero emissions by 2050.

Dealing with materials more efficiently

Efficiently managing raw materials is a key part of our sustainable production. By optimising processes, identifying errors early, and minimising waste, we reduce material usage and extract more value from materials. This way, we not only work towards a lower environmental impact but also towards higher quality and more efficient production. Therefore, for us, sustainability is also embedded in the daily practice of continuous improvement.

Aim: less scrap, fewer errors, and less waste (by producing more smartly and efficiently).

A safe and inclusive workplace for everyone

We believe it is important that everyone within our organisation can work in an environment that is safe, respectful, and accessible. Therefore, we are committed to equal opportunities, good employment practices, and a culture in which people feel heard and valued. In doing so, we pay attention to workplace safety, employee development, and creating a working environment in which everyone can participate. In this way, we are building a step-by-step organisation in which well-being, growth, and equality are central. [>> labour & human rights policy]

Objective: a work environment without accidents, with a continuous focus on prevention and learning, and annual development discussions for employees.

Responsible cooperation in the supply chain

For us, responsible business does not stop at the borders of our own organisation. We also want to act carefully, transparently and with integrity in our collaboration with customers, suppliers and other partners. That is why we make clear agreements about what we consider important and what we expect from each other. Through policy and a code of conduct, we implement a way of working together that aligns with our values and sustainability ambitions. In this way, we are building a chain that is not only efficient but also reliable and future-proof.
